The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 is very excited to be launching its preliminary programming. The programming is the outcome of long-term efforts in order to properly start the countdown at one year from the event. The tone is set for the 17 days of activities and celebrations that will be held in Acadia of the Lands and Forests from August 8 to 24, 2014.

However, such an event does not exist without the contribution of its participants. The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 programming puts that reality forward with more than 100 family reunions, 200 community activities, and numerous heritage and outdoor projects. The festive nature of this 5^th Congrès mondial acadien is shown by the legendary welcome the people of Acadia of the Lands and Forests give and the community spirit they have.

In addition to the theme days, the multimedia installation and the international showcase, the CMA 2014 is organizing three major concerts during the Saturdays of the Congrès. It will also be the most sports oriented Congrès mondial acadien thanks to its Sports component, and it will be a time for discussions and reflections with the Economic component and the Seminars and Conferences component.

The public will have a chance to celebrate reunions during the three pillar days with renowned artists. The major gatherings also have an important place in the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 programming with the 50 years + Summit, the Women’s Summit, and the Grand Youth Rally.
